Honoring Chuck Levitt
This year, the 2017 10th Annual Tiger Bass Race will honor former neighbor and dedicated Tiger Bass volunteer, Chuck Levitt, shown here in his favorite blue Tiger Bass shirt. While a resident of Hampton Lake, Chuck was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer’s in 2010. Chuck and his wife, Rose, returned to Lake Forest, Illinois to be near family in 2015. This past April, Chuck passed away. We have missed seeing him at the “Dog Park” intersection directing runners and cheering them on. And although he has not been in his volunteer spot for a couple of years, we know Chuck will be with us in spirit on September 16th when Rose and family join us to honor his memory and Tiger Bass work.
