In early 2015 the Hampton Lake Tiger Bass Race Committee took the step to partner with Community Foundation of the Lowcountry (CFLC) to establish the Hampton Lake Tiger Bass Race Charitable Fund. The mission of this fund is to support the charitable interests and outreach efforts of the members and residents of Hampton Lake.
CFLC is a 28 year-old tax-exempt public charity serving Beaufort, Jasper, Hampton and Colleton Counties and currently manages more than $86 million in over 400 charitable funds. Working under the CFLC’s 501(c)(3) status provides a number of important benefits to both Hampton Lake and the Tiger Bass Race Committee. CFLCwill handle all administrative services including :
- processing all donations
- providing gift acknowledgements to all donors and sponsors
- on-line giving options
- fund reports, vendor payments, and distribution of net proceeds to the designated charities
- multi-state filings for solicitation purposes
