It was a great morning out on the boat cheering for the runners as they made their way along the beautiful nature trail portion of the 12k run. The excitement and sense of community was wonderful to experience!

This was my 5th Tiger Bass event and each year it gets better and better. The Hampton Lake Tiger Bass Race has developed into an incredible community event that welcomes runners and walkers from all over the Low Country while raising money for those in need within the Greater Bluffton area. Can’t wait for TB 2015.

The Tiger Bass 12k run was a great opportunity not only to run, but to see our wonderful community from a different perspective as well. The course took us on our beautiful nature trails, around the lake and down the main roads. The course was well marked, staffed by great volunteers and it was wonderful to see the entire neighborhood support the event; from boaters on the lake calling out their encouragement to the neighbors lining the roads to cheer as we ran by.
